Has anyone else noticed this behaviour since the last update? It seems confined to Writer, but every time I open a new window or new document, the Writer window is not maximised (even when the running instance is maximised) and it’s an odd size (1/4 of the screen sometimes). When started from a shortcut (a .desktop file) the window is half the screen size and placed on the right.
A new document started from a non-maximised window starts with the identical size and position of the windows it’s started from, but from a maximised window a new document will always be un-maximised and a random size.
I’m sure the previous behaviour was to maximise a new window if the current one was maximised and otherwise to reuse the last window size.
Is this just a transient bug or is this the way things are now?
