No asterisk in upper left corner indicating un-saved

I just noticed that Libre Office Calc and Writer do not show an asterisk in the extreme upper left corner indicating that the document has been changed and not yet saved. I cannot remember if it did so formerly, or has never done so. Is there an option to create that or a similar function?

Thanks.

There is a button on the left end of the status bar. It is the same as the save button on the main toolbar. Both show a red dot when the document has unsaved changes.

I see that now. That helps. Thanks.

However, I often have 6 of more sheets of an app open at a time, and I hover over the icon in my taskbar to instantly see which need saving. In that view, I can see an asterisk by the title, as the title is not thumbnailed; but the red indicator in the lower left of the Calc sheet is thumbnailed, and is too small to see. I must maximize each Calc sheet to see the red indicator. This is laborious to do 6 times every 10 minutes. Is there an indicator large enough to see in the taskbar?
