Existing document and Writer Find and Replace…
As of '21 Writer seemed to hadn’t support no-break space both in Find: and Replace: field. I wonder what is current status quo regarding this question.

For some existing document one short sequence of characters with single regular space inside needs to be replaced by same sequence but regular space swapped to no-break space. How to achieve it?

This is a real inconvenience. Workaround is to copy no-break space (or other special character), then paste into Find: or Replace strings.
