Using LO 7.3.2.2 on Windows 11. When attempting to open a file, the opening dialogue box freezes and says ‘Not responding’
Have renamed the user profile (4.old) and restarted with the same result.
It might be a hardware acceleration problem.
Click Start menu > All apps > LibreOffice 7.3 > LibreOffice Safe Mode . A dialogue box will eventually appear, click the option button Configure then tick box Disable hardware acceleration (OpenGL, OpenCL, Vulkan) and click button Apply changes and restart
If LibreOffice loads OK, then go to Tools > Options > View and untick the box Use Skia for all rendering and OK.
Close LibreOffice and then open it normally, If it opens normally that’s great. If it still doesn’t open then repeat the above but this time in Tools > Options > View untick Use hardware acceleration.
