Not Seeing Formulas in Formula Bar

Hi,

I upgraded my Linux box this week. I now have Libre Office 6.x running, going from 5.x.
Hi,

I have a spreadsheet I set up in LO 5.x. I have many formulas in it. I only see the formula results now in LO 6.x. I enable showing formulas, and the formulas are there. However, the formulas when shown and not shown are not populating in the formula bar for either viewing or editing.

What is causing the formulas to now populate in the formula bar, please?

This is a pretty wide field with more than hundred distributions and versions. So it might an important information which GNU/Linux distribution you are using (incl. Version)

That’s imprecise in 2 ways

1. It does not mention the full version (which might be very important in your case)
2. This does not tell, which packages you have installed (from your Linux distribution or from libreoffice.org or even some other type like snap or flatpak installations)

Please provide full information from Help -> About LibreOffice

Thanks for the additional information - Since you are using an Ubuntu 20.04 based system + LibreOffice 6.4.6.2 from Ubuntu repository, perform procedure from my answer in cups Authentication not working correctly (Don’t care about the fact, that the question deals with a complete different issue).
