Is it a problem with the number of decimal places that are displayed? Or maybe you need to format the column so that all the contents are justified (lined up) to the right, instead of to the left or center. But what do you mean about “printing empty cells” … ??? Please explain.
Which version of LibreOffice are you using?? It is possible that by having a “$” sign in front of the number, the number is being interpreted as “text” instead of as a number, and so it is displayed to the left instead of to the right. Please tell us more.
