.ods file types changes to .xls after computer crash

After my computer crashed, the motherboard was changed out, file designations for all ods files changed display to excel. The file extension is ods, but file tries to open in excel. Is there some way to change this designation back to open in LO? I am very frustrated with my computer at this point. The odt files didn’t change.

Thanks for your help.

I forgot to include that I am using Windows 10 on a Lenovo AIO, 64-bit.

I tried the right click under view in File Explorer and do not have a choice of “Open With”. If I choose Open, it tries to open the file with excel. After going through settings a few times, I did find the Libre Office default assignment for .ods files. I think I am okay. Thanks to all for your help.

Open With is a long way down the right click menu (context menu), just under Scan with Microsoft Defender

Thanks. I did not look too far past the Open at the top.
