Is there a way that an OLE object span multiple pages ?
In exemple, I’ve got my budget in a calc doc, nicely formatted, and I want to include it in my yearly report, a beautiful writer doc.
What I would like is that when I hit the print button, Writer gracefully take that budget (calc doc), and lay it on several page if needed.
Is there a way to do it ?
You could generate PDF files and merge them into one. PDFsam (Linux, Windows), PDF24 (Windows), pdfmod (Linux) can do.
Currently, objects in LO cannot span several pages.

Well - no in case of OLE objects. An OLE object is an image from the outer document’s PoV. So the only way to split it over multiple pages would be to cut it at arbitrary point that happens to be page’s text area bottom, and continue over the next page. This would ignore any embedded object’s formatting details, such as rows borders, and in most cases would cut in the middle of a row. This is technological limitation.
Use DDE instead, and do all formatting in Writer.
