When opening a new document, the first (blank) page appears, but it is nearly or completely off the visible window to the right. The upper left side of the screen (where I expect to see a white, empty page for entry), is instead a gray non-entry area. It’s almost as if it is spacing for another full page and thus pushing this first page off to the right in a two-up sort of display.
Changing the zoom does not reduce this.
When I get to the second page of entry, the second page does show up on the left side of the window, below the level of the first page. And it leaves space to the right of the window, ready for the 3rd page to come. So it definitely thinks it’s displaying two pages, side by side, then adding pages in the same manner below. However, the first page is on the top right, not top left.
I just want one page per ‘level’, page one at top, page two directly below page one… you know, like the olden days.
I have done an uninstall and reinstall, opened a default document with zero changes to any settings and this problem is how it comes up right out of the box.
Default page style, portrait, page layout; right and left (default)
Win 10, Writer 7.2.7.2
Thanks!
