I have an old HP printer, and ever since I downloaded LibreOffice, it could not print black ink. What is happening to my printer? If nothing happened, then how can I set up LibreOffice in order to print whole documents?

As you surely know there are thousand of printer models out in the universe, number of printer drivers is almost uncountable and there is a huge variety of operating system (esp. many flavors of Linux) and you don’t mention no information about these details at all. No sound answer could be expected.
It is an HP Deskjet D2680, and my computer is a Thinkpad T420 with a Windows 10 Professional OS. Sorry I did not clarify.
Have you checked the black ink cartridge?
How about printing from another application?
Why do you put requests for detailed information into an answer?
