Open Office Files

When I loaded LibreOffice, I lost all of my critical files. How do I recover for use???

You didn’t lose anything, you probably lost the list of most recently opened documents. Your critical files should still be in the folder where you saved them.

I don’t know what a “critical file” is. For important file a backup is generally suggested, usually to have 3 of them: One current, one recent and one external.
.
But for a “PC” the admin to do or organize this backup will usually be you…
.
You can hope @anon87010807 is right. If you need help to find your files, start to tell, wich OS you use, as the default place for files is different on Windows/Linux/MacOS. As most OS have the possibility to search for files, you may use this to find files. If you don’t remember names try *.odt for writer-Files
.
The other question is: Why do you think you lost files?

Installation or uninstallation of LibreOffice does not affect your data files, not even the ones in the user folder.

After you have found your files in the location where they were saved, you might care to implement some of the methods in this page to improve the security of your data, Preventing data disaster - The Document Foundation Wiki
