References to opening a terminal everywhere. Everyone assumes you know how to do it. Can’t find anything that tells me how to open a terminal anywhere. Please help.
Windows 10: Press Win+X > Command Prompt.
Windows 8: point to upper-right corner of screen > move mouse pointer down > Search > Enter cmd in search box > Command Prompt.
Windows Vista/7: Start > All Programs > Accessories > Command Prompt.
MacOS: Applications > Utilities > Terminal.
GNU/Linux Unity: Dash > More Apps > Accessories > Terminal.
GNU/Linux Gnome: Applications > Accessories > Terminal.
GNU/Linux KDE: KMenu > System > Terminal Program (Konsole).
GNU/Linux XFCE: Applications > System > Terminal.
GNU/Linux LXDE: Menu > Accessories > LXTerminal.
