Hi!
Is there a way to set documents to always open in web view, like as a default opening method, including ones converted from Word docs?
Thank you very much for you assistance!

Maybe…
It might be simpler to add the Web view icon to the Standard toolbar in Tools > Customise > Toolbars. If the icon is highlighted then Web view is active, if it is not highlighted, then click it to make Web view active.

Hi,
Thank you very much for your response - Windows [for the moment
] and latest LO version.
“other options present and probably a more complicated path for soffice. Replace --writer with --web.” The target goes to the LibreOffice folder, then directs to the program \swriter, doesn’t show other options.
Hi,
Thank you very much for your response. This could certainly be helpful in the meantime to speed up that process until figuring out how to have the documents just automatically open in that view. Have been opening each one of many, then saving them while they’re in the Web view mode which has them open that way when reopening in the future. It would be cool if Writer had an option available to open docs in the Web view by default, if a user would like it do it that way.
Create a default template and store it while in web view.
