Even the single table with many forms does not work, for each form is saving the data in a separate record. In the attached file, the flow of data is fine, but the data must be saved on a single record. So is it the subform the way to go? In this post they talk about “filter-table” that might be what I am looking for. Thanks

This type of form with a section for each record can be made with MS Access. You can’t do that with Base.

OK, you can do that if the amount of records is fixed.
