Hello,
I have downloaded some excell pages with .xls suffix, when I double-click on them or right-click open with “calc” it opens the writer and all info on the page does not look like a normal spreadsheet.
Is there some way to make it normal ?

An alternative method is to start the Calc program first, click on File => Open, then navigate to the xls file you want to open, highlight it and click Open. But if your first two methods didn’t work, I doubt this one would succeed either. As gabix suggests, share the file.
