OpenPGP to sign documents?

I’m aware that LibreOffice allows to sign documents, but I cannot find a way to do so via OpenPGP. I know I can do this using my OpenPGP program directly, but doing so makes my documents unreadable to LibreOffice and other programs that recognize ODF documents.

I have not been able to find any plugins to make this happen, nor any options within LibreOffice that would allow me to use my OpenPGP key.

Has anybody managed to find a way to make this happen?

(btw, in case it matters, I am using GPG on a Linux system)

Actually, my questions does not refer to signing with a certificate, but to signing with OpenPGP

With LibreOffice 5.4 you can now use your OpenPGP keys to sign your documents: https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/ReleaseNotes/5.4#Document_signing

So far this works only on Linux, but will be expanded to at least Windows in the near future.

Now with LibreOffice 6.0 available also for Windows and OSX

This applies to signing with a certificate, not by your own encryption/signing device.
Having said that, a GPG/PGP extension would be handy.
