I have only just started using Libreoffice, and would like to know a bit more about Impress.
I am used to using MS Powerpoint, it has an option where I can “Package a presentation for CD” that collects all the media in the presentation and creates an Autorun.
Does Impress have a similar function ?
I would like to create some self running presentation USBs for my clients.
No, but for Windows you could package a portable version of LibreOffice with the file.
You could export the presentation to pdf. Adobe Reader makes a passable presentation client in full screen.
