Since upgrading to version 6.3.4 from 6.2.8.2 I can no longer underline a paragraph by pressing a series of hyphens then pressing enter
This is not an underline. It is a border at bottom of paragraph.
The feature is ontrolled by Tools>AutoCorrect>AutoCorrect Options in the Options tab. The control is a check box named Apply border.
Note: I’d rather recommend using a specifically designed paragraph style rather than this form of direct formatting which creates numerous problems when maintaining documents.
