Paste into Calc from external app doesn't work in 5.3.1

I am unable to paste text into calc when copying from an external app, such as a mail message or web page. I’m using 5.3.1.2 on MacOS. Copy/paste works fine into Writer and Impress. Paste operation results in a pop-up saying “The contents of the clipboard could not be pasted”. Is this a known problem? Is anyone else seeing this?

edit: I just tried installing 5.2.6.2 and it works fine there. New bug?

Works fine in 5.2.7 also. I don’t have time for a bug report right now. Anyone?
