Hi,
I want to paste a table into one element of another table. I can create a table within another table, and I can copy that table to other documents successfully. But when I try to paste it within another table element I can only get the text spilling into various table elements below the desired target element. Any suggestions?

Create a table in one of the cells with the same number of columns and rows as the one you are going to copy. Select the source table and copy (e.g. Ctrl+C) then select the table within the cell and paste. The values will be pasted at the correct location.

The method I described does allow to paste the entire table. Can you provide an example of what happens and what you expected to happen?
It does not include the formatting such as border thickness between cells
