Hi. I have an impress presentation which I am working on which was created a few years ago. I want to edit one of the embedded videos but I can’t see what the original file name is/was. I tried clicking on view/toolbars/media playback (which was a solution which had worked for someone else here) but I still can’t see the path. Where is it meant to show? Does anyone know of another solution?
Many thanks for your help!
You use the phrase embedded videos - thus I don’t expect the impress file to contain any information about the path. The story might be different, if you linked the media (Unzipping the .odp file and investigating content.xml
will provide information about the path; search for something like <draw:plugin xlink:href=
)
Many thanks for replying. Could you tell me how to unzip the file please? It’s a .sxi file which I created on libre office. To be honest, I say “embedded” but maybe that’s not the right word…I just inserted audio/video. In fact all I want to know is the media file name and then I’ll know where to look for it.
Manny thanks again for your help!
