Some how my ebay feedback sentences found their way to the new document link and I could not find the path to correct the blank document so I thought I would uninstall libre and reinstall it fixing the problem. However when I rebooted my computer was no longer behind the lockscreen so it at the computer repairers now as I’m not up to speed with win 11. Thank God for spare computer.
That would not helped. Your default template is part of the user-profile and this is kept during updates/after uninstall as it is not in the programs folder.
Your profile can easily reset without uninstall:

As with Win10 it is a decision of Microsoft to have config data not in the users folder, but in a hidden structure. To access this my usual method is opening explorer and replacing the shown path (you can edit this!) with %APPDATA%
Your profile will be below LibreOffice. Above step jumps over the hidden structure. But be careful: MS obviously don’t want you there… (But everybody should backup this.)

No, you don’t need the path (but see my comments above on location). All you need to know is, how to set a new default template:

Ok I tried that before computer crashed what is the proper name for defult blank page mine was showing as untitled 1 and untitled 2. but it was not blank.
From what I understand, you have accidentally created a template from a document and clicked Set as default template.
If that is the case then,
- in the Writer menu, click File > Templates > Manage templates
- In the dialogue that opens, look for the template with a green tick in the corner. Right click it and select Reset Default. Close.
- Click File > New > Text document. The new document will be a blank document.
