PDF EDITING

Hello, I was surprised that LibreOffice can edit pdf files. However, it doesn’t respect original fonts, and as a result, the text columns are messed up (rows are longer). Is there any possibility what to do with this?

@capngary LibreOffice doesn’t use embedded fonts. If the original font(s) are installed on the computer then it will use them.

Open the pdf in Draw. Click in a text box and look at the font box, if the name of the font is in italics then that font is not installed and a substitute is being used to display the text.

You can

  1. Install the font. Or
  2. Find an existing font with same or similar metrics and tell LibreOffice to use that as replacement for the original font. See Tools - Options - LibreOffice - Fonts
