Hi, I have already prepared a fillable form using Libre which works quite well, except for one thing.
I have many pdf files based on this Libre form I have created. I use Microsoft 365, the files are in a folder and its shortcut is on my computer’s One Drive folder. The problem is that I cannot search for the content of these documents, not on One Drive, nor on my computer’s One Drive. The fixed content is not relevant, but the fillable parts should be searchable when the document itself is not open. It is very disappointing as I have many files filled out and it would be really useful to search for the content of those. Is there any solution for this? (In case I open a document searching function is working but I need the content of the whole folder to be searchable). Thank you for your help in advance.
You can try this link: How to Search for Text Inside Multiple PDF Files at Once - the relevant part is roughly half-way down. One solution is to use Acrobat Reader, another is to use Windows Explorer, which you have to tweak to do so, and the article tells you how to do it.
Caveat: I didn’t check if the following will search fillable forms.

Thank you, the article was very useful, although there was only one option in it which worked well. The advance search of Acrobat Reader found some files but not all which contained the requested word and it is quite slow. Foxit PDF Reader works well and finds the searcheable docs quickly.
