How can I tweak libreoffice to let the sidebar be colored by the active personas?
I use libreoffice 4.4
What sense in it?
When I install a mozilla personas, the header and footer of LibreOffice are affected however the sidebar remains indifferent. The result is an incoherent interface colors. We install a personas to beautify and not the opposite. My question here was how to do that sidebar adopts the current personas.
I think I had understood. Just wanted to express my trouble with getting developers to worry about another superfluous feature. If the persona thing is helping up beauty or not is a matter of taste. Working correctly in the range of specified duty may be a matter of survival for a productivity suite facing competitors, some of which might even be hostile.
The Mozilla Personas provides support for HEADER and FOOTER .jpg or .png and the font colour for the displayed text. The header and footer are of a defined size which would not fit onto the sidebar. There is no ability to tweak LibO to allow either the header or footer to be displayed on the sidebar.
If you mean that you would like to change the background colour of the sidebar, rather than try to display an image, I suggest you could ask this as a separate question.
Sorry not to give you the answer you wanted. Peter
Thank you! this is clear.
The sidebar’s background color question here is unanswered. I will ask “how to make a personas that support the sidebar” in a separate question
