Pictures not showing in writer document

Good Afternoon

Since I upgraded to 6.1.5 pictures I had saved in documents no longer show but now “show” as a box with the word image displayed?

Can you advise how I can get my pictures in writer documents back, as they showed in the version before 6.1.5.

Hello,

maybe in Tools -> Options -> LibreOffice Writer the checkbox "Images and objects" in category “Display” is unchecked.

Thanks! You solved my problem.
This was sudden, I’ve been inserting pictures for months. I have no idea how the setting got changed - I guess that’s what somehow happened. Anyway LibreWriter was behaving strangely all evening.
