Position an image or textbox precisely

Hi all,

I’m just getting my feet wet and testing to see whether LibreOffice can replace Office 2013.
My first task is to convert our main Word template we use for our customers.

I need to position an image and a textbox precisely. The mouse is not accurate enough.
Shift + Arrow keys doesn’t work.

Is this possible in LibreOffice (4.2)?

I assume you are using Writer. Alt+Arrow keys move with baby steps. Also right click on the object, select “Panel” then under “Type” and “Layout” you can set precise position with numbers if you wish.
