Possible Glitch?

CALC seems to have a problem where FIND & REPLACE will not recognize cells where the case is different; even when the “◘ match case” is not checked.
Not a HUGE problem as it is ease to change the case of the whole column, but I thought you would like to hear about it.

The very first step.

Let’s do it together. Write the value A in cell A2. Select cell A1, Ctrl + H, uncheck all fields, Find: a, Search In: Formulas, click Find Next. My current cell becomes A2, and yours?

We rather would like to hear about your detailed example that reproduces your case. And your LibreOffice version. And maybe operating system. Ask a good question.

Please, share which text are you searching for, and the cell content that do you expect to be found. Don’t write it, but copy and paste.

There are many similar glyphs in differents alphabets; i.e.,
А: CYRILLIC CAPITAL LETTER A
Α: GREEK CAPITAL LETTER ALPHA
A: LATIN CAPITAL LETTER A
