Pound Sterling symbol

I am using Ubuntu 14.04 with a Spanish keyboard and cant find out how to print the Pound Sterling symbol
Any help

To insert the pound sign “£” in Ubuntu press Ctrl + Shift + U, then type A3, then press Enter.

If you want to insert currency values in a calc cell, choose Format - Cells and in the first tab select the currency you want.

Also you can insert the pound symbol by choosing Insert - Special character.
