seems to be a common issue
I find Libre Office only somewhat compatible with Microsoft.
I usually end up in VirtualBox running Windows XP & Office 2000 to get things done.
I have Libre Office 5 & Microsoft Office 2000.
You would thing an older version of MS Office would work, but NOOO!
None of the fixes I have seen solve the problem.
Correct codecs are installed.
Settings in Impress are correct.
But wait, after editing in Libre Office it no longer works in MS Office.
MS Office does not work in Impress… arrggghhhh…
