Prevent application background from changing color in 4.3?

I just upgraded to 4.3 on OSX 10.8.5
If the application background is any color besides pure white, It seems to get ‘highlites’ when I scroll the window.

I am assuming this is a display bug, and should be reported.
I am curious if there are any other people with same issue, and if there is a quick-ish work around, other than a pure white background?
