Print header/footer on automatically inserted blank pages

When I print a document with odd and even pages, LibreOffice Writer correctly inserts blank, even pages automatically. However, LibreOffice does not print the header or footer on these automatically inserted pages; it only prints them on even (and odd) pages that contain text.

How can I make LibreOffice print headers and footers on automatically inserted even pages?

That is not possible yet. Read the discussion in the still unsolved feature request https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=55651

Currently you need to examine your document before printing and add the needed page breaks manually.
