I am trying to print a range with the row headers in LIbreOffice Calc. I keep getting the message “Invalid Sheet Reference” I have researched this and have not found an understandable answer. For example, I am just trying to print a range of cells from A266 to G300 along with the Headers in Row 4 in my check book register. What is the Sheet Reference it is refering to? How do I create it in simple language and why is this necessary? I thought I was going to like Libre Office but it seems there a are a lot of unecessary and complicated steps to take to accomplish just simple task. Thanks.
Please upload your ODF type sample file here.
Which version of the LO are you using?
Thanks for your prompt reply. I am using version 7.4.3.2 64 bit for Windows. My OS is Windows 11.
I can’t up load the ODF file as it is my check book file and contains critical private information about my bank account. However, it is basically a typical spreadsheet. I have the headers frozen so that they remain visible when scrolling. I print out the register as it changes and before using Microsoft works I could print the last few rows along with the header roll but I haven’t been able to do this with Libre Office.
Then we can not test the structure (formulas, hyperlinks, etc…) of your document.
Try to change the sensitive data to some dummy data in a copy of your document, and then upload it here.
I never seen such error message during a simple print procedure…
Maybe it refers to an external document or to a non-exeinting sheet in the actual document… Have you links to some external data?
*Good Morning, Zizi64;
Thanks for your help and advice. For some strange and unknown reason, it worked this morning. * I followed the exact same procedure of defining the range and then editing and defining which rows I wanted to print, including the header row and it worked like it was supposed to. I’m not smart enough to know why but, hey, don’t look a gift horse in the mouth, right? Have a great day and thanks again.
