My printer Brother DCP-1612W was working problemless with Linux Ubuntu Mate 16.04.
After having installed Linux Ubuntu Mate 18.04, this same printer does not work anymore.
I am a beginner with Linux Ubuntu Mate. Can somebody let me know step by step what to do?

I have the same situation and the same problem, but I think it is with cups not LibreOffice. No solution yet.
