Printer won't print: rear tray!

I’m using 11.04 Ubuntu.
I un-instaled 3.34, and installed LO 3.5.1, and now I can’t print using the rear tray of my printer. (Canon MG6130) i go to “print”, select property for my printer, and choose “rear tray”, click OK, and PRINT… and it still print from the reg feed tray.
any ideas on how to fix this?

This could very well be another sideeffect of:

https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/libreoffice/+bug/925836
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=46904

fixed by David Tardon on master, in LibreOffice 3.5.3 and backported to libreoffice-3.5.1-1ubuntu5 on Ubuntu Precise.

Thanks. I looked at the links. but can’t see if there is a solution or not. Any ideas What I should do?

@kaizoku – Have you been able to verify this fix? Please download (or use your package manager to install) a newer build and let us know if your problem has been eliminated. Thanks!

I had the same problem and it seems that the only way libreoffice respects the printer tray option is to go to Format - Page and change the paper tray from there. If the page settings are “from printer settings”, the default tray is chosen irrespective of the printer tray chosen in the print dialog.

This is a bug and should be fixed but the above is a workaround.
