Help please.
My printers have disappeared from LibreOffice? (ver 7.3.2.2 on Ubuntu 20.04.4 LTS)? The printers still appear in all other applications and work fine? This has caused a real headache the past couple of days.
Any help appreciated
edit: I have since checked and the printers appear and work fine in: Firefox, Thunderbird, Document Viewer, GIMP and Scribus. The only place they don’t appear is in LibreOffice??
The problem may be because the program is installed by snap.
You must uninstall and install again, downloading the files from the official page of libre office (the version 7.2) You have to install it using dpkg.
In addition:
What is snap? What is dpkg? I installed this from ubuntu ‘software’ about 6 months ago and it has been fine until this week? Has this happened because of a software update??
