LO v5.2.4 installed, anything i print is gibberish - weird blocks and symbols all over the page. however, if a graphic is in the document, the graphic prints correctly. seems that all the text is just gibberish when printed.
printing works just fine from all other applications on my system including MS office.
my printer is a network printer, HP laserjet 1217 mfp.
any ideas?

Windows 8.1 x64
LibreOffice 5.2.4 x64
HP LaserJet M1120 MFP (USB connection, latest driver/firmware)
Hmm, I wonder if itās the print driver? We have similar printers, I bet they use the same driver. But Iām on Windows 7 sp1 x32. Just odd that every other application prints just fine. Only LO is not right. Maybe Iāll try the long term release and see what it does. I really donāt want to try messing with the print drivers or rolling back to an older version 
I uninstalled LO 5.2.4, rebooted
Installed LO 5.1.6 āStillā version, and printing seems to be just fine now. No more gibberish at least during my few limited test pages.
I will stick with the Still version 5.1.6

I was planning on the same, I just need the time to access the system across the big pond. Will comment whether itās a solution in my case too.
Edit: Printing works fine with 5.1.6.
