Printing Large Documents

Hello,
I do have a problem. I have been printing 500 page document on my old printer. First I have printed even pages in reversed order and then I have planned to print odd pages on the other side of those prints. Printer run out of paper and the print did not resume. LibreOffices frozen and I had to restart only to find out, that I cannot print only even pages from page 163 till the end of that document.

Is there any work around? I need to keep the numbers on the pages right as well as the total number of pages printed on each side.

Why is there no option for page range on odd/even pages?

Thank you very much for help.

Daniel

You can enter the range.
Select File>Print.
Enter the page number from / to.

You didn’t mention your LO version. The present print dialog has had for several releases an item named Include: with a drop-down menu to select all, even or odd pages.

I’d suggest you don’t print all the pages in one go considering the possibility of two sheets being stuck together and driven as one into the printer. This would desynchronise all remaining pages. You can also experiences jams due to the fact that the sheets have already travelled across the printer and may be distorted (either damp in inkjet printers or overheated in laser printers). Consequently batching the process by 50 pages minimises spoiling paper.
