Problem formatting printed page

I am so frustrated. MS Word expired so I decided to try Libre Office and I’m suddenly having huge problems. I am trying to print a Word document of a calendar. If I open it and print it from Word, it prints fine. If, however, I try printing it in Libre Office, it prints off the page. Here is the print preview:

But when it prints, it goes off the page like this…

I have been messing with the Page Style tab under Format and burned up half a ream of paper and I cannot for some reason get this to print right. Can someone please advise me how to fix this and what the problem is? Thanks so much in advance!

I am guessing that the calendar page format is A4 (210 x 297 mm) but your paper is Letter (215.9mm x 279.4mm), i.e. shorter

Word automatically reduces the printout size when converting this way which can be frustrating when measurements are important.

In LibreOffice, you can set a warning if there is a paper mismatch in Tools > Options > LibreOffice > Print > Warnings > Paper Size

The fix in the document is to change the page style to Letter and adjust the table to fit

For a quick work-around I print or export to PDF and use acrobat-reader for actual printing: It’s print dialogue allows scale-to-fit for larger pages.

You could also check the Printer Properties from the Print dialogue to see if the printer driver can scale the output, not all can though.

[EDIT]

It seems that for small adjustments, such as A4 to Letter selecting the Paper size in the Print dialogue will adjust the margins to fit without scaling. See the original preview of A4 pasted over the Help button compared to Letter preview. You would still have small side margins but they would be balanced
