In ubuntu 18.04, I installed Mendeley desktop and its plug1in for libreoffice writer. Now it seems something goes wrong with the plugin! Wen i click on insert citation icon, insted of input box Mendeley desktop runs!
Have you search in this site for ‘mendeley’ there are several questions, maybe some of them can help.

The same issue here too. The plugin works fine for the same build of Libreoffice (Version: 6.2.5.2) works fine on Windows 10
Same issue with Version: 6.0.7.3 on Ubuntu 18.04. Has anyone found a solution?
