My “save as…” window is suddenly full screen, and I cannot find a way to reduce it’s size. Keyboard short cuts, mouse, etc. all in-effective.

This is a Windows setting. Right-click on the bar along the top of the Save As window and select Restore.
If the Save As window is still not small enough you can then hover over the edge of the window until you see a double-headed arrow then you can click, hold and drag the sides in with mouse
