Problems entering text

I have a text of c 350000 characters which I want to enter into another document with 2 columns. The text appears in the columns, but the window then freezes.

How?

Did you try to

• create a copy of your file
• open the copy
• Format -> Page Style -> Tab: Columns and
• change Columns to 2

?

Convert your document and save it under a different name.

Converting was the wrong word. Changing your document in 2 columns is more likely.
