protect a tabel outline for changing

i have made a document with three table. i use this to fill these tables with content and ten print the content on a ready made form. but it,s very easy to change the sizes of the colomns and rows without intent.

is there away to protect this against change, but in a way you can still fill the cells with data?
i tried to turn off edit mode,but this doesn’t allow filling the cells with data.

also searched the help… but probably (hopefully) wrongly as i didn’t find the solution

Writer do not handle document protection as could do Calc (which could be a solution).

A workaround might be to insert your tables into frames.

You can protect size and position of a frame (Options tab). This does not prevent the change of height/width of lines/column but it prevents the table “overflow”. Do not forget to untick AutoSize checkbox (Type tab).
