I was using LibreOffice 3.4 and manually downloaded and installed 3.6 on Mac OS 10.6.8. The first time I tried to open LibreOffice 3.6, I could see the new green intro screen and progress meter and then I got an Apple problem report: “LibreOffice quit unexpectedly”. Now when I try to open LibreOffice, I only get the problem report and cannot open LibreOffice. There are no other explanations and I’ve searched for other solutions but have found nothing. Please help.

“Various problems with bundled extensions…”
If this is in fact the same problem, fdo#53006 - Autocorrection TWo INitial CApitals does not work because of bundled extensions problem (misleading title: Was a more comprehensive problem with extensions), then it was fixed in 3.6.1.
try opening LibreOffice in a test user on your computer, if it works there then pull the .plist (sorry don’t know the full file name, nor do I own a mac to look it up) file for libreoffice found at ~/Library/Preferences/
if it does not work in the test account than uninstall both 3.4 and 3.6 from /Applications and test after installing 3.6 again
other folders of interest will be ~/Library/Application Support and /Library/Application Support depending on whether it’s system wide or user specific
