I have just upgraded to 7.05 I use calc to run an elementary spreadsheet of our domestic expenses. When entering data into cells I get a red border and when I hover over the cell I get a “post it” telling me I have changed the state of the cell from empty. it has been suggested that I turn off edit/track changes/record but when I do this i am asked for a password. I have never set a password. Is there a default I can use to turn this “feature” off ?

That means: is the Track Changes feature is switched ON.

No default. If it asks for a password there is a password set.
