RESOLVED: Office won’t let me change the temporary files path

RESOLVED by removing PortableApps version and installing WinPenPack.

====================

Office won’t let me change the temporary files path

I go to Tools —> Options —> LibreOffice —> Paths —> Temporary files

The default location is: C:\Users{username}\AppData\Local\Temp\LibreOfficePortableTemp\temp

I change it to a new location, then I close Office, then when I run it again the path is back to the default location.

The same happens in both OpenOffice and LibreOffice.

Windows 10, Office v. 5.4.5.1

Works here with Version: 6.0.3.1 (x64)
Build ID: 62abb169b0efa1520d7bee1f586865354060b989
CPU threads: 4; OS: Windows 10.0; UI render: default;
Locale: ru-RU (ru_RU); Calc: CL

A Portable version issue? (Assuming it’s a PortableApps release, you would want to raise this on them?)

Also check to ensure your firewall’s ransomware is allowing you to do that. And check the permissions of the folder.
