Retrieving a saved document/picture

Dear LibreOffice

Please, i find it hard to believe that after saving a document it becomes very difficult and sometimes impossible to retrieve or find for dispatching/sending to receivers. Indeed, they get missing. So also are pictures and attachments. Why is that?

I also find that the Saved Interface Documents page have duplictions and in others triplications: Downloads, Documents, Pictures, Desktop, Data (D), OneDrive, Screenshots, etc., etc, all over the place. is that really necessary? Can’t you make the Documents page Interface compact? For the search for a document is a nightmare.

I guess you are using Windows and also using the Windows dialogues. You can pin your favourite folders in Windows Explorer and they will appear in the Home folder of Quick Access.

The place to complain about the very messy default appearance of Windows dialogues would be Microsoft.

To use LibreOffice dialogues, click Tools > Options > LibreOffice > General and tick the box Use LibreOffice dialogue boxes
You can create you own shortcuts in this dialogue
