4.2.3.3-3 is installed and runs just fine. An ‘rpm -Uhv *.rpm’ says that all the packages are installed. Same for the associated help. I even ‘rpm --force -Uhv’ reinstalled 4.2.3.3-3.
rpm -Uhv *.rpm in the RPMS directory yields the following error.
libobasis4.2-en-US <= 4.2.3.3-3 is needed by (installed) libobasis4.2-en-US-help-4.2.3.3-3.i586
System is a custom setup that started as openSUSE 11.4 and is now kept up to date with ‘evergreen’, compilation of source, download of RPM’s and my own alteration of source. The kernel is compiled from source (kernel.org).
Kernel is ‘uname -a’
