I have my macros working well on my older Macbook air with Yosemite. However, I cannot get the macros to work at all on my new macbook pro with Yosemite. I tried downloading JAVA but still get BASIC snytax error message. What might be preventing macros from working on this computer? The macors are simple table sentences on a word document, so nothing elaborate is being done here.
can you post the precise error messages? I suspect that you are using a library stored separately from the document that must be exported manually using the Organizer which is available from the Basic Macro dialog box. To do this, you will need to save the library as something other than Standard (because you cannot import that to another installation) and then using the Libraries tab, export the library you just renamed.
