Screen artifacts

Hi, on LO 7.6, and now on 24.2, I’m getting some strange behavior.

1. The cursor leaves a vertical line if I use a hard return and go on to the next line.
2. When I get a prompt to repeat a memorized or saved word, instead of seeing the word in a pop-up, I get the pop-up but it’s blacked out.

Windows 10, fully patched. I’ve changed nothing on my computer except delete Trend Micro and install Norton; I don’t think the date I did that correlates to the screen artifacts I see, but I could be wrong. I haven’t witnessed any of this on any other program or app that I’m using.

Is anybody else seeing this? Neither of them are showstoppers, but it is a new and kind of annoying behavior.

Try this, click Tools - Options - LibreOffice - View and tick the box Force Skia software rendering. Restart LibreOffice and see if the issue has gone. Cheers, Al
